Aly incorporates kiln-casted glass pieces into assemblages she creates on wood. The process:  First a mold is made of an object. Next, bits of glass are placed into the mold. Last, the glass-filled mold is placed into a kiln and fired at a high temperature.  The mold is destroyed as the object is lifted out.  These objects are then incorporated into art pieces.
