Father and daughter together again

Last time I saw my dad was 2 years ago for a short hot visit (as in Texas summer). Here he is again. It's September and still 97 degrees. But he isn't here for a visit this time. This time Fernando, as people not me call him, came with a car packed with all things art, and a few clothes. Ready at the age of 75 to get on with life and be closer to his family. Us. Me. My husband and two fantastically crazy boys. After one week, we have gotten into two fights, I have a thoroughly clean garage, we've hugged, we've signed up for Fort Worth's Art Goggle, and we're ready to get our creativity flowing in to make some incredible art. He's the artist who has inspired me to be the artist I am today. I am completely happy being an art teacher to some fantastic students grades Kindergarten through 6th grade here in good ol' Fort Worth. I am also happy making art and am happy to have my father here so we can get our creative minds going to make some incredible display at next month's Art Goggle. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 19 2019, from 10am to 10pm on Magnolia Ave. in Fort Worth, Texas. Stop by say "Hi", buy something, support the arts, we love to see happy people!

Here we are: Father and daughter together again.
